For Family night this last monday we all went to Mason Lake and cleaned it all up. Wow were we all shocked when we saw how tall the grass was and how many weeds were waiting to be pulled. Nathan and Alex were lighting the weeds on fire. Maybe that was more Nathan than Alex. Alex really just stood there and watched. Casey was incharge of mowing the lawn and decided it would be funny to chase the baby brody. So you will see that he was being held by his mom, MIMI, because he was so scared after that. We all had a great time and are so excited to go up to the lake and play, play, play.

Poetry

Miss Ryan Ashley is growing up right before our eyes. This last week her class had a poetry night. All the students read a few poems that they had written all by themselves. I am always a little nervous about these kinds of situations with Ryan because she doesn't like getting up in front of people and talking. She doesn't like being center of attention. But to my surprise she did great and has written some really cute poems. She is just a delight and a wonderful little lady. She is a helper at home, she loves school, she has a sweet little spirit about her. You can't help but love her. We sure do and we are blessed to have her in our family. I don't know what I would do without her, she helps me so much with her younger brothers and sister. Ryan we love you, great job on your poetry.

We had a hair party earlier this week. Kennedy had so much fun playing with cousin Taylor. What cute girls they are.

MyBaby

I am realizing more and more each day how fast my baby is growing up. I am not sure if I should be happy or sad. All mile stones are fun and exciting. I am always excited to move onto the stage in development. But I believe with with last baby I just really have had a hard time letting him grow up, he is my baby. I have really had to be strong with myself and be consistant with him. This is still a work in progress but we are all trying hard to make Banks grow up a little bit. I have recently bought tabasco sauce and when he is naughty I put the tabasco sauce on his tongue. Needless to say he knows what tabasco sauce is now. I feel bad but NOTHING was working. This is actually working. Tonight my little buddy did not want to go to bed. He was in his crib screaming about his world. So I went into his room to see what I could do for him, I asked him if he wanted to sleep in his bear bed, that is his big boy bed, he did. So my baby is in his big boy bed for the first time. Wow. They grow up fast, too fast. I am not sure if I should cry or be happy. I have never felt like this before about my kids. I have always needed them to grow up because I was pregnant. Well this time is different, I have no more babies coming, and it is hard to let my baby boy grow up. He is my baby boy, my

Brody

Here is Dad's new addition to the family....meet Brody the Bulldog. He is so sweet and so calm. We really love him, he is too cute. We have had fun playing with him and getting to know him.

Parade

Carter Cub Scout Troop was in the Gig Harbor Parade this last Saturday. So we all went to support him. We ended up with a lot of candy, you would have thought it was Hallowwenn or something. We had a fun time watching.

Hawaii

Hawaii, Hawaii, Hawaii....We love Hawaii. We just cannot get enough. I know all these picture are a little but over the top but the kids love to get on the blog and look at themselves. So we must make the children happy right. We love the sun and fun and cannot wait for summer to start around here.

We have been in Hawaii for the last 10 days, oh what a great time we had. The weather was sunny and beautiful. We played at the beach and at the pool. We had really great time with our family. It doesn't get better than Hawaii. This family loves the sun!!!!
