Cousins first sleep over

A couple of weekends ago we had to attend a youth dance. Courtney and Casey brought their girls over so they could have fun with their cousins while we went to church. We got home super late and to our surprise all the kids were in bed, that never happens at our house. I don't want to stress the babysitter out so I let the kids stay up. Ryan, Lillian, and Kennedy were fast asleep in the queen sized bed the girls share. So we let Lillian spend the night. So fun for the girls, although they din't realize they were having a spend the night they were!!! When they got up the next morning the girls were at our door. (Our kids don't bug us in the moring we usually just meet in the kitchen) Ryan was really concerned, she thought Aunt Courtney had left Lillian on accident, so basically forgot her!! I assured the girls that Lillian was not forgotten and that they had just had their first sleep over. They were all very excited as they have been asking to have one for a while now. So after pancakes and tubbies they had a tea party. So here are a few pictures of their tea party. They are so fun I just love them when theya re playing nicely together.

Carter's 9th Birthday

Hard to believe my baby is 9 years old. I am in total shock, seriously I feel like I was just in the hospital having my first baby boy. He is not a baby anymore. He is a sweet boy with many talents and wonderful qualities about him. He loves to build, draw, he has mastered the rip stick, he is a great swimmer, basketball player, skate boarder, snow skier, and we love him to pieces. He is a boy so he isn't the best cleaner or helper but he tries in his own way. He is full of life and full of love. Barrett and him are BEST FRIENDS and I truely hope there will always will be. We love our Carter J and are blessed to have him in our family. Oh, the song on the blog is Carter's favorite. He definately knows what kind of music he likes and it is not country. he does not like the fact that I like country music!! He is a funny boy..

Miss Lillian came over for a play date. So we decided to take some pictures of the girls. We love our Lillian. Kennedy and Lillian and best friends. I hope they always stay close.

This is Banks in his new car jammies, he calls them chicous. Kind of a made up word by Banks, he is a very special boy!!! We love him, he has an opinion about everthing.

Kennedy wanted to put her new do on the blog. She loves getting her haircut and loves to model and show off. So her she is with her hew do. She has the exact same hairsut just shorter. We love our Kennedy Grace!!

Sunday Snow

Sunday afternoon it started snowing yet again in Washington. Kind of hard to believe our weather this winter. We are kind of sick of the snow, but decided to take advantage of our snowy sunday night. We got all our gear on and headed outside for some fun. We did have a lot of fun playing, making snow angels, building snowmen, and then the boys thought it would be fun to build an igloo. Our igloo didn't get very far but they had fun trying.

Kennedy Ringing in the New Year 2009

This is Kennedy ringing in the new year with pots and pans. The kids have been asking for about 2 weeks when they were going to bang pots and pans for the new year. When it came down to it Kennedy was the only one who ended up preforming. The older kids were upset because we were not with Mimi and Papa and that is where they wanted to be. I told them to just be grateful I even let them stay up til midnight. So here is Miss Kennedy ringing in the new year. Happy New Year!!!
