Happy Birthday to me. I am so old, I can hardly believe it. But what better way to spend a brithday then with your siblings in Hawaii. What a fun night we all had. Love you guys.

Hawaii

We have been in Hawaii for the last 10 days, oh what a great time we had. The weather was sunny and beautiful. We played at the beach and at the pool. We had really great time with our family. It doesn't get better than Hawaii. This family loves the sun!!!!

The kids love to hangout and watch a movie on Mimi's bed. Then they never want to go home.

SummerWeather

Here we are enjoying our summer like weather. Hard to believe last week we couldn't get above 50 degrees and now we are in the 90's. Well whatever is going on I really like this weather. OUr yard has been getting a lot of needed attention. I am loving our yard, we have been working really hard on making it beautiful again, now we just need some bark.

TalentShow

Ryan decided she had to do the talent show a couple of weeks ago. She came running in the house one day after school exclaiming she had to participate in the talent show. So I asked her what her talent was and what she was planning to do. She told me jump rope. So I asked what are your friends doing? She replied "jump roping" so I told her that she needed to find a new talent. I told her to call Aunt Rachel and have her teach you a dance. So we went over to Aunt Rachel's and learned a dance and used one of Aunt Rachel's super cool dance outfits!!! The following week she tried out for the talent show and make the cut, we were all sooooo proud of her. For any one that knows Ryan, we all know that Ryan hates to be center of attention. She is the kid that is hiding behind my leg because someone looked at her. So the fact that she was able to get up infront of a lot of people is just a wonderful accomplishment for our little lady. We are so proud of her, she did a great job. We love you Ryan!!!

Sun

We don't get days like these in the Northwest to often, so when we do we take full advantage of the sun and play, play, play. The kids had fun with the hose for quite a while today. Hopefully we will have a hot summer this year. We would love that. The kids had so much fun playing in the sun all afternoon long, it was hard to make them come inside tonight. We love the sun.

DairyQueen

Our fun family time dairy queen trip. I love it when the fast food places have a play place because the kids get so excited to play. We had a really fun time at that play place.

Kids

We were headed out of the house the other night for FHE and thought I would take a quick picture of the kids outside the house because for once in our life it wasn't raining. Well my children do nothing quick. The boys insisted that the cats be in the picture because they are part of our family too. Well whatever here they are so cute. I just love them. I love talking with them and hanging out with them. They are not babies anymore and they are getting soooo big I cannot believe Carter is already 8 time goes by so quickly. We really have such a great time together.

Surprise

Aunt Rachy's Surprise Birthday party. We had a fun time keeping a seceret from Aunt Rachy and Surprising her with a Happy Birthday Party!!! Happy 23 birthday we love you Aunt Rachy!!!

Carter

What a special day we had today. Carter and Tyson we baptized at Grandpa Barrett's pool in Yelm. The pool was freezing cold because the heater is broken but the boys survived. After the baptizm the boys were comfirmed poolside. We had a really fun and special day together as a family. We are so blessed to have Carter in our family. He is such a great example to all around him. We love you Carter.

Scouts

Carter is finally eight and has started Scouts. He loves "Big Kid" because he doesn't have to go to bed at 7:00 on Tuesday nights. We are so proud of him and are very excited about scouts and what is to come!!

Weather

I don't have any pictures to post today. But I thought I would just tell everyone how crazy our weather is. Yesterday we had rain, sleet, hail, snow, and sun. Yes, I am not too sure when summer is coming...and the next time some stupid liberal talks about global warming I am going to go insane. We are not experiencing an y such thing here in the great northwest. I am so ready for some nice weather, for some sun. I am not to sure when it will be here but I am kind of nervous about summer...are we going to get ine this year?? How much longer can I take this, not much I know that. We really do need to get out of this state. I have decided I am done with the northwest and the wet, wet, wet, cold, super cold weahter. Okay that is all for now just thought everyone should know that I really need some sun and warmth in my world really badly.

Blogger

Okay I am really into this new blog thing, changing my blog around. How fun, I love this, Alex is kinda done with the whole blogging thing. He thinks it takes up too much of my time. I really try not to blog when he is home because I every time I do he ends up fast asleep on the bed. But the new blog is so cute, I really like it. Okay I don't think I am going to do anymore changing. I like this one, the other one was just too big.

Carrotts

We had a very interesting dinner tonight. I am trying to instill good eating habbits in the kids. I hide a lot of veggies in their food and they don't even realize they are eating them> Which is really great but also they need to learn to like veggies so I told them that we are now eating veggies and the older 2, Carter and Ryan, started crying and really thought they were going to die. But we ended up getting through it believe it or not. Ryan was the most stubborn I think she sat at the table for about 1 1/2 crying and screaming about eating 1 carrott. Yes, that was all I was asking 1 carrott. Well we made it and everybody ate 1 carrott. Mission accomplished for today.

BLogger

Okay I am trying do the "cool" blog look. I was so sick of mine but I am not sure if I like this one either because it is so big. Although I am loud and crazy, maybe it is me. Well bare with me we might have more changes to come!!

Banks

Banks has discovered that bikes are super fun and he is always saying "side? side?" Which is outside. He is growing up too darn fast. He is my baby you know and I can't stand that he is going to be 2 this summer. Time goes by way to fast. I just love him to pieces. Even if he is a squaker!!!

Ready

The kids are so ready for summer and ask just about everyday "When is it going to be sunny and warm outside so we can go to the lake?" Well I feel so bad for these poor kids. They really don't realize that we have a long way to go until summer. That is really a bummer, we are super sick of the rain around here. I guess we do have Hawaii to look forward too!!!

Kids

While I was cooking dinner tonight the kids were keeping themselves occupied taking pictures of eachother and a lot of who knows what they were trying to capture, I got rid of those ones!!! But here are a few cute ones of the girls and Barrett.
