SunPeaks

sleeping

This was our sleeping arrangement the first night before we got to Sun Peaks. We stayed just south of the border because the weather had gotten so bad. We stayed here for the night. I love my ducks.

SunPeaks

We spent a week in Canada at Sun Peaks. The weather was crazy cold -25 degrees. When you walked outside your nose hairs would freeze. The kids had a great time. I think the highlight of the trip was going to the pool/hottub and splashing around. The skiing was great except for the bitter cold. We only would last a max of 2 hours out in that cold weather. We all had a wonderful time spending time toghether and getting away from our daily routine. Thanks for a fabulous time family!!! We love you.

Seattle

On Saturday we took the kids on the ferry to Seattle to see downtown all decorated for Christmas. We had a lot of fun eating, riding the carousel and walking around the city. Banks was the most surpised to see all the pretty lights and decorations.

ReadytoSKI

We are super excited for our up coming trip to Canada. We pulled out the ski bucket to see who needs what and what fits who. This proved to be quite challenging. But we got to the bottom of it and we don't have to buy that much new ski stuff. We love hand me downs in this family.

Park

We have had such a beautiful fall here in washington. We have tried to take full advantage of the weather. Whenever the kids can get outside they do. The moment they get home from school they want to know when they can get outside and play with their neighborhood friends. We love to be outside.

MYBABIES

My babies are getting sooo big. I cannot believe how big they are.

MorePartyTime

MissKennedy

Hard to believe my baby girl is 4 years old. The kids just seem to get bigger and bigger right before my eyes. We started the morning off with Birthday waffles, a tradition at our house, and went straight to the gifts. Kennedy has been looking forward to her birthday since she had her last birthday. All she ever wants to talk about is her birthday. I like to call her the birthdayzilla because she is a little obsessed with it. After lunch a couple of friends came over for a tea party, next we painted toes and fingers. At this point birthdayzilla girl is getting a bit out of control and is crying about people playing with her gifts. She got to be a little bit ridiculous. After our friend party we had a family party. We bbqed that was great but all Kennedy, birthdayzilla could talk about was opening gifts and what she was going to do for her next birthday. Mimi and Papa got her some things for her baby, one of the items has not come yet, so she has asked no more than 100 times when that next gift will be here. So she is a brithdayzilla. We do love her. She has a great personality and is full of life. She is the life of the party and always has something to say. She holds her own in our family and loves to be the princess. she truly believes she is a princess. She is very dramatic and full of spunk. We love our Kennedy Grace and feel extremely blessed to have her as a part of our family. Oh, Taylor Swift is her favorite singer, she thinks she is Cinderella. So that is why that song is on the blog!!! We love you Doey Grace. Happy Birthday little Lady.

Time

I have been a busy lady the last 3 months. When taking on a part time job I really didn't think that my life would become as busy as it has. I am not sure how mothers work full time and run a house hold. i am in "AW" of them because mt little part time job keeps me so completely busy that my laundry pile is I think the largest it has ever been. EVER!!! Everyone is doing great though. The kids have all adjusted to school and the routine. Carter is in 3rd grade, so hard to believe. He is getting so big and so old. He is swimming and starts basketball next month. He has also decided to try chess club, hey whhatever makes the boy happy right?? Ryan is in 2nd grade and loving her little life. Ryan is a high achiever, you know one of those brown noser kids that the teacher just loves because she does what she is told and then some. She is also in swimming but really wants to take on dance. I just don't know where to fit that into the schedule so that will have to wait for now. Barrett is in kindergarten, the adjustment for him was really hard. All work no play. He likes to play and still take an afternoon naptime. But finally things are clicking for him and all is well. He is swimming and also doing chess club. Yes, I think I have nerdy boys. But What boys aren't nerdy right??? Kennedy is 3 and is still at home with me for the time being, I am just in no hurry to get her off to school yet. I love having her home with me and having time with her by herself without the big kids around. I feel like I have gotten to know her better. She loves swimming lessons but would really love to dance. I need to get on that for my girls before they are too old huh? We have fun together cleaning and shopping. Banks is our baby that will never grow up because he is the last one and I am having a hard time letting him grow up. He gets away with way to much. It is just hard to realize my baby is 2 and he doesn't want to be the baby. He tells me, "I big boy mommy" guess i should listen. We are enjoying the time of year. Everyone is talking about Halloween, pumpkins, Christmas, our snow ski trip to Canada. We love this time of year because there is so much to look forward too. We love our family and the time we spend together it is precious to us. Happy Fall everyone.

Hair

As many of you know already I am a hairstylist. I have been doing hair out of my house FOREVER!!! I have taken over at the salon for my sister for her maternity leave. Well in doing so I have discovered this whole new world. I can actually have an adult conversation without Banks hanging on my legs crying that he wants mommy to be done doing hair. So I am looking for more clients!!! For anyone who needs a new "HAIR LADY" I am her. I am running a special this month FREE haircut with color. So come and see me. Call me 970-7860.

AAA

Our worst nightmare we are in Tacoma and the car died and would not start. Here we are waiting for AAA. They said it was going to take about 3 hours because they were so busy that night. Alex was really bugged. Can ya tell.

Seattle

Our trip to Seattle before school started. We road on the ferry and took the monorail. Banks loves that so much. We had a fun time together as a family.
