Toasty

We love our Pj's. Ryan and I went to target tonight and came home with new toasty warm feetie pj's for Barrett because they were only $3.24 can't beat that price. So we bought him 2 pairs of toasty warm pj's. Well Ryan decided she needed some too....So she put on a pair of Barrett's toasty warm pj's. Everyone was some excited about their toasty warm pj's that we had to take pictures of everybody. We love to be toasty warm at our house because Alex and I am to cheap to turn up the heat. We keep the house pretty darn cold. Courtney says we are the ice box. So we must wear our toasty warm jammies at night.

Busy

We have been so busy lately. Lately we have been go, go, go, Just on the move. I feel like I never get to blog and look at what's happening with everyone else and their lives. Since we have been back to school I feel like I barely have time to do anything, my house is really suffering we are pretty messy lately, i just cannot keep up. I think my kids love to see a clean room because they are thinking in their little pea head brains ohhh, I am going to trash this room, Mom just loves it when we trash the house!!! So we are back on swimming, and sports fitness for Carter. The younger kids go to Adventure Zone when Carter has class and Banks has class. The YMCA definately keeps us super busy. Kind of nice for these long wnter days. Who likes it when it is dark at 4:30 and the kids can't go outside and play. WHen we hit the Y the kids sleep like rocks which we absolutely love. I always tell them I am not a Mom from 7:00pm-7:00am so don't come get me. Seems to work they always get their Dad in the middle of the night. I can handle that. So that is the happenings of our life currently. Not to exciting just the routine.

Curls

The girls got a new treasure yesterday....sponge curlers!! They love their curls and really love the fact that I don't have to curl their hair in the morning. Our sunday morning went a lot more smoothly with out the curling iron.

Swimming

The girls, Kennedy and Lillian got new swimming suits yesterday. They wanted to try them on after lunch. Then they wanted pictures, then music to dance too. Barrett decided this was a party and he wasn't going to miss out, so he got his swim suit on too and they all had fun dancing and playing. A few hours later we are still running around in our suits!!!

Treats

This is the kids favorite part of the day....our after dinner treaty treat treat. Hot chocolate with whipping cream and sprinkles. And to top it off tonight they also got to have a skinny cow ice cream sandwich. I do have some pretty happy kids right now. They don't normally get two treats unless we are at Mimi's house and then I loose all control over their treaty treat treats. And Papa lets them eat whatever they would like no limits with him, just keep them happy he says!!! WOW does he want me to have FAT kids. Ok, time for those kiddos to get into bed. Happy Blogging.

We are having a dance party to High School Musical after lunch. Everyone in our family LOVES LOVES LOVES High School Musical. So Kennedy and Lillian wanted Fabulous to be on the blog. Fabulous is Kennedy and Aunt Courtney's favorite song. Banks really gets into the dancing too. Cute boy!!

Fun

Projects

The kids think projects are so fun. So the deal was today if they would take a nap they could do a project when they woke up. They chose playdo not my favorite but at least they are entertained for an hour or so not watching T.V. So Barrett and Kennedy are making their creations. Banks is not allowed to do this project because he insists on eating it. GROSS!! But Banks didn't really care he was cruis'n around doing mr. finger!! We have really great times at this house.

Exercising

Here we all are working out together. The kids have had so much energy I don't know what to do with it all. We haven't had swimming lessons in about a month and they are so used to being really extremely active so I decided that tonight we were going to have a family workout session. We actually had a really fun time with each other doing push ups, jumping jacks, lunges, squats, wall squats, and of course the treadmill. We talked about being healthy and exercising to make our hearts strong and our cardiovascular system stronger. They are so fun to be with sometimes. I really love them so much. A family that works out together stays together.

2007

So I got these pictures a little late because they were emailed to me. Here we are at Mimi and Papa's for the big bash New Years Eve 2007. Papa thought the kids would make too much noise with their pots and pans in the house so he kicked them outside in the frigid winter temperature. He forgets how noise and loud we used to be when we all lived at home. He thinks I have the loudest family ever. But I really like my loud family. We have great times together and share great memories. I love those kids today, maybe because they are back in school. I actually have been missing them the last 2 days. They really make my world go round what would I do without those smiling faces? We are the life of teh party!!

Kids

After lunch the girls, Kennedy and Lillian got all dressed up in their newest dress ups that Santa broght to them. So Kennedy decided she needed her picture taken. Lilliam was not really into the idea as we were fast approaching naptime. But I took some pics reguardless. The boys had to get in on the action too. So here are the first pictures of teh kids in 2008. Now they are all napping, I should be cleaning and doing laudry but I am blogging. Oh, wow I really need to get my priorities striaght.

How exciting....Happy New Year 2008. We had quite an eventful night. We went over to Mimi and Papa's at about 9:00 had some treats, watched High School Musical, played nintendo, watched the ball drop and finally banged pots and pans. Kennedy was super diappointed with the entire night. SHe for some reason or another thought we were going to have fireworks. So when it came time to bang the pots and pans she really thought we would be lighting some fireworks as well. Carter didn't join us in our fun at Mimi's so when we got home tonight we had to do the banging again. Kennedy was upset about her fireworks and would not participate in our fun she was really upset. Bless her heart everything will be better in the morning. 12:00am is the middle of the night to a 3 year old. I think we have all made our resolutions here at the McCann house so we are alreadt to start. Happy New Year to all I hope that we can all stick to our new game plans!!!!
